| This week’s announcement that shared-services will now be exempt from VAT will be a boost for FE colleges with charitable status as they are now clear to engage in shared services projects without incurring VAT charges. So the sector should see more projects akin to those recently granted funding via the AOC and the FE Efficiency Innovation Fund.
